Sybil’s Family Restaurant was Established in 1984.

The original proprietor, Sybil Lynn opened the doors in 1970 as Chic-King in a very small location across the street from the current location. Due to the outstanding support of the community, Chic-King “carry out” establishment grew into Sybil’s Family Restaurant, a family-friendly casual dining experience. The restaurant was expanded three times since its moving to its present location. It now employs 50 members of the community and can accommodate 310 diners in restaurant as well as  caters events ranging from 5 to 800 guest.

Sybil’s changed hands in January of 2013 to a 20+ years restaurant veteran at Sybils, James Johnson. As the name implies the company is a “family style restaurant” serving the local community.
